This tool can be used to create vector graphics based on a gene. The gene contains several
parameters that control the properties of the shape. For example, the first two digits determine the
number of columns of the grid used to generate the shape.
First, a contour with random parameters can be generated. This already happens the first time the
page is visited. To change the silhouette slightly, it is possible to mutate it and select one of
the mutations. If several polygons are to be generated in the same shape language, a new shape with
the same parameters is calculated by clicking on new shape. Finally, it is possible to edit the gene
manually in the Gene Lab by clicking on it. It is also possible to change the color, which is
displayed as a hexadecimal number in the last six digits.
